We discovered Oona through the power of referrals! Segolene told us about this fashion agency who is the co-founder of Façon Jacmin. It was a gorgeous physical space and has some of the trendiest designers in Europe.

She grew up in Belgium and at the young age of 12, knew that she would be a fashion designer. We couldn’t even figure out if we wanted to wear dresses or pants then! Then she moved to Turkey for her fashion degree. Soon, she launched a statement collection of jackets, street wear and athleisure.
Personally, I wouldn’t call it street wear. To me this is high fashion at the most value for money. Trust me, wear some of these pieces and you are bound to stand out. She has taken athleisure and added a strong touch of couture to it.
Putting a fashionable twist to the regular puffer jacket, you will find pastel shades, unusual cuts and oversized drama. Her sweatshirts have balloon striped sleeves and cinched waist bands. Moreover, pastel color blocks act as a common theme across the pieces.
Sebnem launched her first collection in Spring 2016. Then, she has been recognized by Vogue, Maire Claire, Enfnts and presented at Istanbul Fashion Week.
In addition to discovering Sebnem, we also saw our AISPI brands – Facon Jacmin, Dcember, and Julia June at Oona. Julia June really impressed us with her use of bold greens and prints. Her garments were elevated to a whole new level with its structured silhouettes and vibrant colours.
Oona’s food, decor and theme never fails to impress. All in all, an afternoon well spent.
