The History of Lala Berlin
The brand was founded in 2004 by Leyla Piedayesh with the philosophy, “founded in Berlin, rooted in the world.” Born in Iran, Leyla and her family migrated to Germany in 1979 after the Islamic Revolution.
The Teheran-born designer started her brand by creating knitwear collections but expanded into ready-to-wear clothing and accessories soon after. Since it began, Lala Berlin has had an impact on not only the local fashion scene but just as much the international one.
With passion and desire to explore, she became one of the most successful fashion designers from Berlin.
