L’alingi is a London-based accessories brand that strives to “transform unconventional staple items into dazzling and unique statement pieces”, as their slogan goes. This brand challenges the norms of bag design by testing the limits with out-of-the-box shapes and silhouettes.
A favourite of celebrities like Cardi B, Megan Fox, and Millie Bobby Brown amongst others, the brand has been changing the face of luxury fashion by giving it their signature youthful spin.
Styles & Silhouettes
Everything in L’alingi’s collection is designed and directed by the founder Alia Zaki Ali. As a designer she is not afraid to play around with unconventional shapes and silhouettes as well as with elements you would not expect to find in a bag.
Their collection includes unconventional and unexpected shapes like hearts, flowers, and even butterflies, bringing out the femininity and gracefulness of the designs. Yet, the brand manages to add edginess and femininity simultaneously through their use of pearls, multicoloured crystals, and sequins for handles and key details. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that the queen of edgy fashion, Nicki Minaj, was seen carrying the Hot Pink Eternity clutch last summer.

When it comes to the sustainability of the materials and the brand itself, L’alingi has declared that the materials used are vegan and sourced and unused materials such as metal components are melted and reused.
The Story of L'alingi
L’alingi was launched in 2017 in London by the founder Alia Zaki Ali who had always been enthusiastic about accessories and more specifically creating something out of the ordinary. After studying graphic design and working in advertisement, Alia researched factories and moved to London. It was there where she launched her own company. L’alingi has since been growing at a fast phase and has been featured in big magazines such as the Forbes and Vogue.
