Three words to describe the Stella Nova wardrobe: thirty, flirty and thriving. The leading Danish brand is all for fun-seeking women who aren’t afraid to stand out with funky and unique pieces.
Focused on creating individualistic fashion for everyone, Stella Nova loves to play with the opposites. Whether its dressing up versus bring casual or the juxtaposition of masculine lines versus feminine aesthetics, she uses these opposites to tell a fashionable (and stylish) tale. The aim is to create timeless pieces that will be kept in your closet forever. Well, we hope they make it out of the closet at least weekly!
Magic In The
Details
The playful and whimsical nature of Stella Nova encourages modern, busy women to find joy in the small moments of life. She does it by adding intricate, fun details to her garments–the frill, flare, print, colour or the ruffle are always embellished with details that make us love the brand more.
The two latest collections, Foxy Lady and Old School vs. New School, has one of everything: comfortable cardigans, stylish dresses, casual jumpers, good pair of flare pants, pretty blouses and of course, accessories.
But what stands out is the necklines. This collar, separate to the rest and undoubtedly the most unique accessory to any outfit.
The details are important, but something as important is the feel–we’re talking about materials. With this, Stella Nova does not disappoint. Featuring dresses made from cotton and jumpers made from Alpaca wool along with other materials such as nylon or recycled polyester, a a lot of thought has gone into creating the perfect feel for the perfect fit. All of these to ensure you can be dressed fashionably, while still being care-free and comfortable at all times.
With contrasting panelled jumpers, gingham check patterned dresses, and flared skirts, Stella Nova pieces are sure to jump out of your closet on a dreary Monday morning and say “pick me!”
The Wardrobe Story
Stella Nova is all about a good story. Like a good book, the pieces are simply something you pick up, and cannot put down. The Stella Nova story started in 2002 after creative director Trine Skoller graduated as a fashion designer from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Design and decided to cultivate her own narrative.
Releasing six wardrobes a year, the designer is inspired by language and individual expression. The brand believes in collaboration and work with personalities who feature Stella Nova’s collection in the way that they would like and converses with them on topics close to their heart.
So, not only is Stella Nova telling us their story, but the story of the wearer. If you do not feel special today, Stella Nova is here to remind you that you are, and that your story matters. How you tell that story to others through your fashion and what you wear, well, that is entirely up to you.
