Indian-owned, Belgium-based designer directory and e-commerce store Aispi is holding a number of pop-up shops in India and is preparing to launch an India-exclusive digital drop this month.

Aispi aims to function as a shoppable directory of up-and-coming brands - Aispi- Facebook

On April 8, Aispi travelled to retail space The Loft in Kolkata for a pop-up shopping event, the business announced on its website. The pop-up featured brands from across Europe including Celia B, Rosantica, L’alingi, and Vanina, among other, with products ranging from gowns to accessories and handbags.

Aispi’s most recent India events also include a two-day pop-up at The Olive Bar and Kitchen in Mehrauli, Delhi in partnership with Warehouse by Mudita from April 4 to 5. The pop-up brought a number of European brands to India for the first time and featured a mix of casual western wear and occasion wear.

The business plans to hold pop-up shopping events in Bangalore, Chennai, and Hyderabad this year, Vogue India reported. The business also plans to launch a multi-brand collection on its e-commerce store as a curated selection of European labels exclusively for the Indian market at the end of April.

The business describes itself as, “the shoppable Michelin guide to fashion,” according to its website and e-commerce store.

Aisha Kothari launched the business in 2017 after spending years travelling through Europe and documenting the up-and-coming brands and boutiques she discovered. Aispi aims go bring these labels to a wider, global audience and give shoppers the chance to discover new, niche luxury brands.
