L’Alingi is an accessories label based in London, founded and designed by Alia Zaki Ali. The brand started in 2017, following Ali’s studies in graphic design. Growing up in the US and Lebanon, heritage is of importance, with the pieces being handmade and sourced between the UK and Beirut.

The designs aim to “unleash the child within”, blending everyday objects with luxury, to transform the common clutch into a work of art. Alia’s first collection was influenced by the Japanese fake-food movement and as stated on the official website, “the powerful effect of food and fashion joint together clearly demonstrate why they are consistently the two reigning themes of the social media monarchy”.
The brands’ use of cutting-edge and unconventional materials allows them to embrace newness, yet maintains the luxurious aesthetic, with some pieces being 100% vegan and waste materials being reused elsewhere in the design process. As strong believers in circular fashion, L’Alingi is partnered with rental platforms HURR and Nova Octo, allowing customers to live their luxury accessories fantasies without making a full purchase.
The SS20 collection uses a combination of pastel and neon colour ways, representing the playful yet classic aesthetic of the brand. With their iconic ice cream scoop and lollipop handles, the range has a nostalgic feel, something fun and different, something we all crave right now.
