Ski season is back, and we are here to help you look good whether you’re hitting the slopes or watching others over a cup of cocoa. And the best place to do both? It’s Megève!
Megève is deserving of a little more airtime as the French Alps’ best-kept secret and one of the greatest ski resorts in the world. Move aside St Moriz! The town’s cobbled streets are strung with lights and busy with horse-drawn “taxis” like scenes from a Christmas card. What’s more, they are also home to some fabulous boutiques and designers.
These designers will have you ready to beat the Megève chill in style.
Yves Salomon

A family of furriers since 1910, the Salomon brand has a rich history of craftmanship and an impressive roster of clients. Thierry Mugler, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Yves Saint Laurent are only but a few from the extensive list of esteemed partners they have collaborated with over the decades.
Utilising their host of innovative expertise, their coats, and accessories feature unexpected furs from badgers to chinchillas. Their current Yves Salomon Mountain line includes everything you could wish for and more from an après ski collection. Expect reflective silvers, ushankas, and gillets trimmed with the most luxurious fur this atelier has to offer.
Open Monday to Sunday, 10:00 – 7:30 pm
Address: Galerie le chamois, 12 Rue Mgr Conseil, 74120 Megève, France

Guilhem
Known as ‘The Jeweller of Megève’, the house of Guilhem has been creating sculptural pieces of wearable art for over twenty years.
Their chalet-like boutique provides warmth and a friendly atmosphere mirroring the captivating surroundings.

Philippe Guilhem’s recent collection drew inspiration from other forms of art, such as African masks and the architectural work of Zaha Hadid.
His work utilises bronze to create the perfect setting for precious stones, something that sets his designs apart from others on the market.
Open Monday to Sunday, 10:30 am – 7:00 pm
Address: 115 Rue Charles Feige, 74120 Megève, France
Blu & Berry
A family-run business through and through, Blu & Berry brings generational knowledge and a passion for high-end fashion into their boutique. They are home to big names from Balenciaga to Valentino, housing garments that are both haute and hot.
