Aisha's Antwerp: A year end guide to our founder's favourite city

As the year winds down, I find myself returning to what feels cozy and warm: a city I once called home, old favourites, and moments that feel both grounding and celebratory. As 2025 comes to a close, these are the Antwerp spots I always come back to.

SIP

Spiridon

A seriously cool bar with one of the craziest wine menus in the city, right next door to Caos.

Citta

My neighbourhood soul spot: part yoga studio, part café, serving the best smoothies, breakfast bowls and feel-good food that instantly feels like home.

Mono Coffee

A tiny, no-frills coffee shop with just a few things on the menu; all perfect, all worth the walk.

Caos

Tiny Mexican bites paired with dangerously potent margaritas: fun, fiery and always a good idea.

Savour

Nectar

A very cool European café with a limited menu, great wines and a coffee-table-book shop next door - always the place to be.

Notti or Tinsel

Two great vibey breakfast spots with incredible food, pick the one that’s closer to you.

Tong Mein

Ultimate comfort Chinese food: hot, steamy, garlicky and exactly what you need after a long week or late night.

La Brasserie De Mauro

Hands down the best Italian food in the world, my husband and I’s neighbourhood date-night spot.

Cobra House

Almost impossible to book and worth every effort; a place you can spend the entire day and an absolute must-visit.

Boker Tov

A super fresh, flavour-packed take on Israeli food that I crave every single time I’m back.

SEE

Antwerp city walks

Winter walks under pink skies, bundled in coats, boots and gloves, slowing down and noticing the small, beautiful things.

Antwerp Christmas Market

When the city lights up completely: raclette, hot chocolate, Ferris wheels and festive magic on every corner.

Botanic Sanctuary Antwerp

The most beautiful hotel in the city; no Antwerp visit is complete without a drink here (and yes, there are Michelin stars inside).
