Alessandro de Benedetti first launched his eponymous label in 1999, in fashion’s most creative hub–Milan. After a few years, the designer shifted his focus on working with established brands and helped many grow.
In 2018, he relaunched his Italian label which has gained a niche following. Today, the brand designs ready-to-wear evening attire for women that are timeless and eccentric. Highlighting indie couture with a dark silver-screen inspired edge, the collections are unforgettable.

Art Of Style
The designer believes in creating timeless designs that stand the test of time while still being relevant in today’s evolving world of fashion. With collections that remind us of cinematic style, the brand designs garments that speak of the designer’s heritage and creative vision.

Creating elegant garments with a quirky twist, the designer draws inspiration from his own passion for sartorial excellence–integrating great attention to detail and care into each of the designs. The clothes aren’t just meant for women who love fashion, but for those who cherish the story as well.
Made using textiles like parachute silk, breathable linen and more, each garment looks elegant, rich and luxurious. From fluid drapes that highlight the body’s lean silhouette to structured couture-inspired tailoring with artisanal finishes, Alessandro de Benedetti's collections feature a plethora of unique characteristics. They set his garments apart, making them easily recognisable amongst the other brands.

More About The Designer

Alessandro de Benedetti studied illustration, fashion and design at Istituto Marangoni Milano, from which he graduated in 1994. He spent the next two years at Thierry Mugler’s workroom in Paris. Upon his return to Milan, he started his namesake label.

In 2009, he launched an atelier project called De Benedetti Bloodrouge, which featured form-fitting dresses with metal-boned bustiers. After presenting many amazing collections, he was appointed as the creative director of Maison Mila Schön. Today, he works as the creative director of Romeo Gigli alongside designing for his own brand.
