Trine Skoller, who serves as both the company's design director and creative director, launched STELLA NOVA in 2002. The focus is on assembling a capsule wardrobe full of statement pieces that each have their own backstory. Because the brand believe that a fresh tale can only be told when opposites collide, Stella Nova often find themselves working with such differences. Stella Nova has grown into a major Danish fashion house, producing four collections every year. The landmark shop "STELLA NOVA the Boutique" in the center of Copenhagen reflects the actual joyful world of Stella Nova.

All the items that come out of the brand's studio are a beautiful synthesis of traditionally feminine and masculine elements, as well as informal and thoughtful details, luxurious fabrics, and geometric cuts.

Fabulous dress with broad, long sleeves and a ruffled hem. There is no closure at all on the back of the garment, which is held together by a cluster of ribbons.

The History of Stella Nova

Trine Skoller attended The Royal Danish Academy-Design, the Danish School of Design, in Copenhagen. She worked for many companies after finishing school, but the need to launch her own label and produce her own designs eventually became too great to ignore. As far as Trine Skoller is concerned, one's sense of style is usually a reflection of the era in which one lives. The essence of her sense of style is the idea that one's wardrobe should accurately represent one's inner self. Trine should wear clothing that she feels at ease in.
