Double A is one of the few leather clothing manufacturers and designers in the entire Middle East. Each day, the brand pushes barriers and breaks down stereotypes related to the properties and functions of leather. Double A’s collections show how the versatile material can be worn all year long; breaking the stereotype that it is exclusively for winter.

Double A sets itself apart through the hard work, dedication, and respect it lives by. The brand is proud of each individual that stands behind the creation of each of its leather garments. These individuals are put first, so the brand commits to impeccable quality without compromising the creation of safe, healthy, and fair working environments for them. The History of Double A

The brand’s name was derived from both founders’ shared initials, “A” for Ayah and Aliaa Aboutera. The sister duo carries on an important family tradition: leather manufacturing. They manage to translate this historic Egyptian tradition into a contemporary, fashion-focused treasure. The sisters’ father, Aboutera, is the principal influence and large inspiration behind Double A. He was amongst those initiating leather manufacturing in Egypt back in 1977 and later passed his extensive experience onto his daughters who became passionate about fashion. Each day the Aboutera sisters strive to shine a light on the sophisticated quality of Egyptian leather through Double A’s female empowerment movement.
