FARM Rio: A Brand That Let You Breathe Colours
Based in Rio de Janeiro, FARM Rio is one of the happiest, joyful and energetic brand you will ever see. Kátia Barros has always wanted to dedicate herself to fashion and it seems she was destined to do so. When she was a teenager she redesigned and customized a jewellry and sold it to friends. This was the first piece she made money on.
However, following the business legacy of her family, she studied auditing. After leaving her job and failed in opening a small family business, she decided to start from scratch. The true story began when along with Marcello Bastos, opened a small booth in an independent market, called Babilônia Feira Hype.
“Brazil is what inspires me the most. Rio de Janeiro, our nature, our culture, music, dance, and our natural joy. The Amazon rainforest and the Atlantic forest are always on my creative radar.”
Truth to their passionate, latino nature, they make vibrant patterns, with rich palette, creating that born in colours sensation.
From picturesque landscapes to floral to animalistic to stripes to figurative prints, their aesthetic is ethnic, boho and romantic.
Tropical, beach vibes, eternal summer and love to their heritage is what you will definitely feel from their vivid masterpieces.
With sustainablity in mind, they partner with One Tree Planted, which means that for each purchase done, they donate a dollar amount equuivalent to one tree planted.
Since 2014, they collaborate actively with Adidas in order to help people explore the funny part of fashion through sportwear.
For the 8th edition of the partnership, they released a video showing “passinho” dance-a Brazlian funk movement born in Rio de Janeiro. Check out for more amazing collections!
