The History of HOPE

HOPE was founded in 2001 by Ann Ringstrand and Stefan Söderberg with a womenswear collection. The brand quickly found how to set itself apart from the rest. Most women's styles at the time were romantic and nostalgic. Meanwhile, HOPE was developing cool looks with modern flair that derived inspiration from menswear and utility pieces.

Since its launched, the unique brand has been a leader in classic, elegant designs. Moreover, it has become one of Sweden’s greatest fashion inspiration. In 2005, they launched the first menswear collection. They remained a go-to favourite ever since. In 2016, Frida Bard was appointed as the Head of Design. Sharing the founders’ passion for tailoring and utility, she continues making iconic garments today for the contemporary voice and creative force that is HOPE.
