Based in East London, Miista is a luxury brand, launched by Laura Villasenin and her brother Pablo that designs exclusive clothing, shoes and accessories.

They were raised in the North of Spain, near an area filled with fashion history that dates back to XIX century. Some of the artisans who handmade linens, are their ancestors.

With her fashion DNI, Laura has always been interested in every single process of the whole supply chain. So, in 2021 they already had their own factory in order to produce collections the way they want.

The brand`s mission is to create timeless products and convince people to buy less. Moreover, they embody the London`s spirit but stay true to their Spanish heritage, creating versatile and unconventional collections.

As they say:”A product needs to be in order to achieve “luxury” status.”

The History Of Miista

Set up in 2010, the London-based label`s inicial idea was to create original shoes, mixing different textures and shapes. Laura identified what was missing on the market- shoe design, made of European-only sourced materials. So, she needed to do something about it.

Since the founder moved to London in order to study, she fell in love with its ambience and this is reflected in the collections. Their fave place is the area Bethnal Green, so they turned an old leather tannery into a community design studio and showroom. Handmade in Spain but London`s at nature, the brand is constantly inspired by the city.
