The Importance of a Great Bag
Many always ask why do women have so many bags? What's the point on spending so much of your budget on that IT bag of the season? Why? That's because they don't understand how a bag can compliment and elevate your whole look.
Bags often hold all of our essentials and basic necessities along the day. In mine, you can find my purse, makeup and often a whole lot of receipts and that's because just like the outside the contents of your bag speak about you and your personality. So choosing your bag is often about representing who you are as a woman and what you will be up to for the rest of the day.
Textures and Colors
You don't always need to go for a matching purse, I, in fact, recommend the total opposite. Your bag is often a key piece in your outfit and that allows you to play with colors, textures, and patterns that will make your outfit better and maybe more out there.
Size matters
What you'll be doing that day should be directly related to the size of your bag. I mean, we all love that Louis Vuitton shopper bag we bought but trust me it's not for a night out. If you are going to work a bigger bag suits your outfit perfectly, if you are a mom doing chores a backpack will be even better and for a night out with your girls, a tiny shoulder bag will be easier and fancier.
No budget, No IT bag?
The bag of the season should never be your biggest worry. We all enjoy those beautiful bags but they are often out of our price range and go out of season in a second. My pick? Go for bags that YOU love! Invest your money in quality and pieces that represent who you are.
