It seems like summer never ends in Ibiza. A party city known for its new exciting experiences, epic adventures, exotic ambience, dance events that go on until the am…What’s not to love about Ibiza? It is one of the most iconic and magical Spanish islands, designed to make your summer go wild.
If you’re spending just 72 hours in the city, we share our AiSPi tips to make your vacation unforgettable!
Day 1
Visit: Cala Llentia
Located between the beaches of Cala Tarida and Cala Codolar, this small bay is situated in the southern part of Ibiza within the municipality of Sant Josep de sa Talaia. This tiny, hard-to-find cove is famous for its two iconic elements: The Sundial and the Gates of Ibiza.
The Gates of Ibiza are formed by two doors facing each other that symbolise a room. They are decorated with Arabic engravings which symbolise the goddess Tanit of Carthaginian mythology. A little further away you will find stone columns that are pieces of art by Australian artist Andrew Rogers as part of a collection called ‘Time and Space’.
Sip & Savour: Edén at Hacienda Na Xamena
Nestled inside the 5 star resort that offers amazing sea views perched upon the cliff, Edén offers an unparalleled gastronomical experience to be enjoyed alongside its breathtaking scenery. Sourcing fresh ingredients from the resort’s garden, their cuisine is inspired by the landscape and nature.
Their dishes are seasonal and sustainable; authentic in presentation and taste. Combining complex flavours with simpler ingredients, the restaurant promises an unforgettable dining experience.
Shop At: Annie’s Ibiza
After having lunch at Edén, let’s move to the heart of this island’s fashion scene with Annie’s Ibiza.
Born out of a passion for travel and style, Annie’s Ibiza curates finds from all over the world. The founder travels the globe in search of one-of-a-kind garments that are eclectic, vintage, yet contemporary. As the brand is passionate about working with smaller up-and-coming designers, the garments selected are expertly handmade.
Day 2
Sail Over The Formentera
Listen to the swish of the waves lapping gently on coves as you sail through the fabulous waters of Formentera. The smallest island in the Mediterranean Sea, you can reach this summer paradise destination by boat. You’ll be awestruck by the way Caribbean-blue waves roll onto white beaches and strong lighthouses stand on golden cliffs.
Sip & Savour El Chiringuito
Restaurateurs Jonathan Thorogood and Olivia Fleury opened El Chiringuito, a chic Ibizian beach restaurant that overlooks the striking sand dunes and crystalline water. From breakfast to dinner, their Mediterranean cuisine is designed to delight your taste buds along with your eyes.
Promising a laid back beach dining experience featuring great-tasting food in a warm, inviting ambience while surrounded by picturesque beauty, El Chiringuito is a must-visit. Don’t forget to try their delectable homemade beech wood smoked salmon or their fresh Mediterranean lobster.
Shop At: Re:VOLVER
The go-to place for those who love statement-making designs, Re:VOLVER opened its doors in 2008 and quickly became a favourite amongst DJs and stylish partiers. The founders, Catherine and Jean-Paul Sanchez handpick garments from big designer names that are edgy and modern.
Shop At: Kurru Kurru
Founded in 2008 by Marinela Cifteli, Kurru Kurru uses exquisite materials to create products that are perfectly crafted. Marinela was born in Albania, raised in Germany and studied fashion design in Miami, Florida. After presenting her first collection, she opened a luxury store which combined her global vision and multinational experience seamlessly. From bold geometrical to fluid and light, you’ll find a lot of things to love at this cosy boutique.
Day 3
Wander Around the Dalt Vila
Situated on a hilltop in Ibiza, Dalt Vila is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in this historic city. It is marked by its chunky defensive, fort-like walls as well as 16th century bastions. The cobblestone streets slope around, leading to a cathedral at the summit that offers beautiful views of the sea. The narrow streets are perfect for walks around sunset so you can take in the beauty of the area.
Savour, Sip & Dance The Night Away At Lío
Offering awe-inspiring views of Dalt Vila and the Old Town from its Talamanca location, Lío is known for three things: cocktails, cabaret, and club. During the day it serves as a restaurant, come evening it transforms into a sensual modern location to enjoy cabaret, and after midnight it becomes the best club in town.
Whether you’re here for the food, glamour, or dancing, you won’t be left disappointed.
Shop At TOMTOM
Launched in 1995, TOMTOM is a high-quality artisanal boutique that’s inspired by the exotic Balearic islands. They create a perfect fusion between sensuality and breezy beach style designs that are able to capture your summer spirit. From the softest sheer cotton dresses to the cosiest satin embrace pieces, you’ll find all your new resort favourites here.
