0711 TBILISI
Each 0711 hand-woven product is created manually by artisans in Georgia. The artisans are elderly women for whom knitting is a very native and favorite craftsmanship passed from ancestors. Innovative knitting technique in organic glass and plywood frames were adopted for their most popular style. Improvising with traditional weaving and shapes, 0711 introduced pearl beaded bags with various models from bucket to tote bags, mixing it with the brand’s multicolor plywood and plexiglass frames.
The brand, 0711 TBILISI was founded in 2012 by Nino Eliava and Ana Mokia. The two entrepreneurs are also co-founders of an established e-commerce platform called More is Love. The idea behind this accessories brand came about at around the same time. Named after the girls’ favourite digits, this brand creates beautiful handbags out of absolutely innovative materials.
The two friends met in childhood while on holiday in Mexico. Years later, the idea behind launching the brand came when they were studying and working in London. Both the girls received an education in the sphere of business and management but for the brand, Nino streamlines the creative process while Ani takes care of growth.
The Strategy
These gorgeous unique bags are not only statement-makers but they are also durable and a timeless investment piece. Given that the founders already had an established e-commerce space we wanted to add value where it would count.
I. Media Coverage Plan in a new market
Therefore, we worked hard to provide them with a comprehensive media coverage plan which included an in-depth interview, content coverage for the founders as well as full-fledged social media plan for a market where they had no presence (India)
II. Online & Offline Sales
Once their launch on our platform was successful, we worked with them on agile sales opportunities, including participation in expansion to India, Dubai and Pakistan as well as getting entry into private sales events and curated pop-ups which catch the attention of their target audience.
Through our efforts, they were also participants at Luxury Lifestyle Weekend, a premier event in India, wherein their product sold out within the first two days.
III. Partnership
Due to our continued successful collaborations, we stock them on AiSPi Finds and ran extremely targeted campaigns to garner a brand awareness in regions where they are currently now selling.
