Based in London, FOR ART`S SAKE is a boutique for real fashionistas, where you can find luxury, superstar-style sunglasses and sophisticated jewellry.
The idea of the brand appeared when Xiwen went to Greece with her boyfrind Yannis. She was unable to find the sunglasses that suit her taste. Born in a family of fashion manufacturers, Xiwen has always wanted to create something by herself. So, she wanted to provide new sensations about the eyewear, looking at them as a piece of art.
Remarkable and memorable, the brand`s name is smartly twisted with this special feeling of putting your stunning sunglasses. You know, it`s for art sake to pair your look with fashion icon attributes.
``I wanted to create sunglasses that were different to anything I`d seen, so I design each pair like it`s a little work of art designing to delight, always. We don`t do boring at FAS``-Creative Director, Xiwen.
Oversized, self-assertive and excentric, the sunglasses are usually inspired by artists such as Botticelli, Michelangelo Frida Kahlo and more.
From angle cat-shaped, D-framed silouette, delicately decorated, squared and futuristic to rounded, explore unique pieces, made with the finest materials, very high quality and 100% UV protection.
Moreover, to complete the look, you can match them with handcrafted, refined and original jewellery.
Exuberant and delicate, it is often made with real freshwater pearls, artsy chains and glossy finishes
Have you ever thought about being inside of the box? The shop is designed to resemble a box of sunglasses, so that when the customer enters he finds himself in its inside. Painted in very peri and full of mirrors, the interior is a marvellous visual game.
Founded in 2016, this London-based brand started as a spontaneous whim and gave a completely new approach to eyewear. Unafraid to experiment, they are full of surprises.
