Emmanuel de Bayser, a serious art enthusiast, welcomes us into his Berlin residence. For more than two decades, this enthusiast has amassed an extraordinary collection of furniture and ceramics, which he has presented in a particularly harmonious manner. Some pieces stand out, and our gaze lingers over the curves of Georges Jouve’s ceramics, the softness of Jean Royère’s Ours Polaire sofa, and the chairs by Jean Prouvé. Emmanuel de Bayser creates an inspirational environment in which the use of textures answers to a mastery of colour.
