Dalood embodies a feminine goddess: one with style and a childlike flare. Fusing ancient symbolism with modern design, Dalood is the epitome of sophisticated fun. Dalood, a pioneer in the Georgian fashion scene, is not for the run-of-the-mill woman, but for a woman who embraces her childlike nature with maturity. Wearing their designs will simultaneously make you feel like a sexy and powerful woman–much like you are, as well as the young carefree girl you are at heart.
Tailored
Dalood expresses creativity and innocence in a tailored and polished manner. The pieces fit like a glove because they have been designed and produced with the ultimate precision.
There almost no chance that when wearing one of their designs, you’ll find yourself seeking out ‘something more’ because it captures everything you would want in a good fit.
Embroidered
What sets Dalood apart from others is the extremely interesting and impeccable embroidery.
We love how the embroidered pearls, tassels, bold gold and black dragon patterns transform the denim and take it to a new level.
Knitted
Sweaters, crafts, tops, cardigans and even dresses are knitted to perfection–with not a thread out of place.
Their knitted jerseys are decorated with geometrical, celestial and funky shapes and symbols which are thoughtfully weaved into the fabric. These symbols are more than a fashion statement, they also hold protective powers for the wearer. Fashion that protects, what’s better than that?
A Georgian Icon
Founded in 2002 the Georgian brand was founded out of a need for something different. Nana Shukvani, the founder, grew up in the mountains of Svaneti in Georgia and was unsatisfied with the options of clothes available by local traders.
So, with a dream and a lot of courage, Nana started producing her own clothes from fabrics in her home and handpainted them, becoming a pioneer in the local fashion community.
She became a master of her craft and employed others in her quest. Collaborating with, managing and promoting various designers under the brand name such as George Amirejibi and George Pantsulia is Dalood’s forte, making the brand atmosphere one of teamwork and pure talent.
