Mary Demircift is founder and CEO of L’Brandier. She is an attorney by education and her company represents and manages digital content creators and influencers, brokers brand deals and deals with publicity rights. “At L’ Brandier, we specialise in storytelling in a way that is genuine to both the brand and the influencer” she says. She is Turkish-Bulgarian and married to Jay Demircift and they both live in Los Angeles, California. She also has two children who are 14 and 12 and is a proud mom.
I was so inspired by this as she is a successful entrepreneur along with being a working mom and I wasn’t shy to tell her just how impressive she is! This conversation definitely gives so much hope and aspiration to other new moms who want to be successful in both spheres of life. She says “You can do anything you want to do in life. That’s the role we play as women–we are caregivers, lovers, we teach our children to be good human beings and contribute to society. Then we turn around and are accomplished #bossyladies who tell people what to do. And so we are capable of doing anything “.
The young businesswoman loves to travel and shares her love for it on Instagram.
Today we spoke with Mary Demircift about her fabulous trip to the French Riviera, including St. Tropez. I had the good fortune of meeting her a couple years ago and have since been in awe of her style and vibe, and so I had to know what was her take on holidaying in Côte d’Azur.
What are your top 3 destinations in the South of France?
“My top destinations in South of France would be hands down – Cannes and St. Tropez. I also love the Antibes for a quiet and private holiday to take some time off from being ‘on-the-go’. My favourite properties at these destinations are Martinez in Cannes, Hotel Byblos in St. Tropez and Cape d’horn in Antibes,” says Mary.
Favourite Restaurants and Places to Party
Mary talks about how she loves entertainment, shows and an exclusive dinner experience. Her recommendations for Cannes include Medusa for dinner and La Guérite for Lunch. Both these turn into absolutely ravishing party places with amazing crowd and food.
In St. Tropez, Mary loves dinner at L’Opera and always goes for the second seating. It is an amazing restaurant and there you can have an experience like never before. Every 45 minutes there is a performance and soon after midnight the place turns in to a club.
Her favourite place for lunch is Loulou. This restaurant is located on Ramatuelle beach. The decor of the restaurant with the backdrop of the beautiful blue ocean of the french riviera makes it a picturesque spot for lunch. Besides, they also turn into a brunch party soon after the lunch sitting is over, so you can stay and enjoy the beachy, tropical vibe.
In Antibes, she suggests the restaurant Mamo. It is a classic Italian restaurant in a renowned rustic-chic eatery with stone walls, plus a beautiful terrace.
Her Perfect Outfit For A Day To Night Party
“My perfect outfit for 2022 would be a really cute bikini with sheer pants or a really beautiful cover up or an almost see-through sundress. I love brands such as Cincin for fun printed bikinis. I also love the new collection of Andreas Degreas which I have and it has sea shells for the top of the bikini. I am very mindful about my looks and where I shop. I always want to have impeccable style. My current favourite night outfit is a from Alexis. It’s a big blue skirt with a blue top.”
Favourite French Dish
Mary’s favourite French dishes are crab lettuce salad with lemon vinaigrette and steak tartare. She says, “I love everything French! Especially the blend of the perfect ingredients, simply prepared to hit your palate just right.”
Favourites Boutiques
If you were to look at Mary’s Instagram, you’ll know that her passion for fashion might even exceed her love for travel! A little unbelievable right?
Delivering look after look of exponential power (most of which we would love to steal), it’s no wonder that the style goddess swears by AiSPi recommendations for St. Tropez which can be found on our page here. She especially loves the effortless simplicity of 100% Capri and the fun, vibrant colours of Mirae.
Uncommon South of France Experience
Mary says, “My favourite non-touristy experience has been in Grasse. It is the perfume capital of the world! Me and my husband had a wonderful experience making our own personalised perfume here. It was one of the coolest experiences that is embedded in my memory. We found out that Chanel no. 5 is made only from flowers that grow in Grasse!”
The Vibe Of Cannes & St. Tropez
“I am extra everywhere, I am the vibe! I dance to the beat of my own drum. The atmosphere everywhere in South of France generically is very elegant and classy. Everyone is wearing stylish bathing suits and latest trends. For the beach, everyone is in flats–heels are a big no-no. I have a Cult Gaia bag – that is my absolute favourite travel accessory that really bring the extra chic to my outfit. And, my personal style is sexy chic.”
The Ultimate Destinations In The South Of France
“Everything in the South of France that I have mentioned, be it Cannes or St. Tropez, is a must-do without which any trip is incomplete. The experiences, music, dining, lifestyle are very beach-friendly but not over the top. It’s all about having elevated fun, dreamy music, delicious food and unparalleled fashion.”
This brings us to the end of an amazing conversation with a beautiful personality, inside and out. Her recommendations are so exciting and I cannot wait to plan a trip to the stunning beaches and beach clubs of the South of France, especially St. Tropez and Cannes!
