The bustling city of London is one of the most visited cities in the world–and with good reason! Not only is this the city where you can come face-to-face with Britain’s opulence through its marvellous architectural moments that house its royalty, but London is also filled with edgy restaurants, coolest clubs, beautiful hotels and the most luxurious boutiques.
If you’re planning a trip to the British capital to catch a glimpse of Buckingham Palace or take a ride on the London Eye, then remember to stop to enjoy the delicious cuisines available in the local eateries. German super influencer, Leonie Hanne, is known for picking the most fashionable places in a city, and this includes her choice in restaurants as well! We AiSPi-ed some of her favourite London brunch spots that you must visit on your next visit to the city.
Daisy Green
This little Aussie cafe believes that a good brunch sets you up for the rest of the day. Grounded in their Australian roots, they offer some truly mouth-watering food options for even the harshest of food critics. Along with classic brunch staples, the cafe also creates bold, in-season menu options as well. Their ‘Bottomless Brunch’ is an award-winning option, especially designed for those who want to start their holiday with free-flowing fizz and mimosas enjoyed in a warm atmosphere.
EL&N London
Calling themselves as “The Most Instagrammable Cafe”, this restaurant right away sets the expectations for its diners. The acronym which stands for ‘Eat, Love & Nourish’, offers delicious breakfast options for food lovers everywhere, but especially in London where they can be found in six locations! With an interior that is decked out in all things pink, including the walls, flowers, furniture and even the pink-hued drinks, it’s every girl’s paradise. You must stop by to enjoy their chia porridge with cashew milk, blueberry and maple toppings on your next girl’s trip to the city.
Granger & Co.
This all-day restaurant by Bill Granger is a reflection of Australian spirit, embodying the sunny, easy-going and generous vibe. This little spot has become a legend amongst all breakfast lovers in London, in part due to its relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Granger was inspired by his travels to Tokyo, Seoul and Honolulu and therefore this brunch menu is a lot more interesting than the usual Eggs Benedict. It includes ingredients such as jasmine-tea smoked salmon and miso mushrooms (yum!). For all you healthy eaters, there’s also the buckwheat bowl with poached egg, goat’s yoghurt, rose harissa and avocado.
Juicebaby
Juicebaby is known as the crown jewel health food in Kings Road. They make sustainable, healthy food accessible for those who wish to live a more wellness-focused life. Using locally sourced ingredients, their food and drinks are unprocessed, gluten-free, dairy-free and plant-based. They avoid refined sugars, additives and preservatives, making food that’s delicious on the outside and good for your insides! We recommend you try their acai verde bowl with avocado toast and a fresh-pressed juice the next time you’re in London.
Bodyism
This cafe is a beautiful symphony of delicious, wholesome, healthy food. Bodyism is one of the best 100% gluten-free eateries in the city, making it a must-visit for all healthy souls. The cafe is located alongside the Bodyism Health Studio, making it hard to miss. Using organic produce and whole foods, they create delicious, vibrant food. Although they don’t specifically have a ‘brunch’ menu, feel free to order almost every dish you see on the menu to enjoy the diversity and taste.
Farm Girl Cafè
What started out in 2015 in Notting Hill, quickly became a well-known health-focused cafe in London. Serving holistic, fresh food and coffee, this Australian style cafe features cool interior and exceptional plated food. It was founded by Rose Mann after she left the farm for London. With the simple aim to serve the best healthy food and coffee, the cafe has made a name for itself. Try their thick, fluffy pancakes that are baked and sprinkled with delicious coconut, drizzled with sweet macerated sauce and topped with sliced strawberries. They also have an array of gluten-free and vegan baked goods that we can’t get enough of!
